It\u2019s perfect for boosting CV experience, personal statements, and UCAS forms. It\u2019s also an unforgettable experience which builds confidence and independence. There are many regional organisations that run the programme during summer, autumn half term, and autumn term time.<\/p>\n<p>The programme is a government-funded initiative that brings together schools, community organisations, businesses and individuals to build a stronger and more cohesive society. It never costs more than \u00a350, and financial assistance can be requested. The programme\u2019s three parts are:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Phase 1 \u2013 Adventure<br \/>\n<\/strong>Develop confidence, meet new people, and build your team on an outdoor residential.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Phase 2 \u2013 Skills<br \/>\n<\/strong>You and your team work together to learn a new skill in sport, media, photography, music, drama, enterprise or art.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Phase 3 \u2013 Social Action<br \/>\n<\/strong>Each team creates a project and pitches it to local business leaders in our NCS Dragon\u2019s Den. You\u2019ll then make your project a reality in your local area.<\/p>\n<p>The programme varies depending on the time of year and regional location. In the East of England, more than 200,000 young people have said Yes to NCS.
