\"\"<\/a>BCPD Trust, a Luton-based charity, recently organised a Walking Challenge to encourage young people to get active, enjoy the outdoors and build confidence through physical activity.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s event took place on 16 August, starting from Warden Hills Nature Reserve car park and following a scenic route through Lilley and the surrounding countryside. The walk covered nearly six miles across the beautiful Chiltern Hills.<\/p>\n

The challenge brought together BCPD Trust volunteers, tuition class students and children from across Luton, giving participants the opportunity to work as a team, develop navigation skills using maps and a compass, and challenge themselves in a supportive environment.<\/p>\n

The event was supported by funding from Luton Council\u2019s Social Justice Unit, through BLCF, as part of the Luton Citizens\u2019 Fund.<\/p>\n

Since 2011, BCPD Trust has been inspiring young people in Luton through education, careers, business and sport. The Walking Challenge is another example of how the charity continues to create positive opportunities that support confidence, wellbeing and active lifestyles.<\/p>\n\n\n
